Starting a New Year, a new chapter, a new book or a new life always comes with some luggage that we need to unpack. From past experiences to emotional liabilities or simply old limiting beliefs.
If you take a small trip back in your memory lane, to a time when you were still a little kid, how many things you were afraid of that today doesn’t even count, how many illusions of how life would be turned out to be not even close to what reality was.
Faith is not simply a patience that passively suffers until the storm is past. Rather, it is a spirit that bears things – with resignations, yes, but above all, with blazing, serene hope.
Corazon Aquino – Former President of the Philippines
Among a lot of people I have met in my life, there were those who loved life more than anything else in the world, they loved to feel the simplest of things like a breath of air and where they wouldn’t spare any opportunity to go out and enjoy their time; however, in contrast, there are those whom you cannot make them smile no matter what you do.
Saying Yes to Life is Living…
This week’s tip is about just that, you need to think about what is making you sad or what is making you unhappy, and ask yourself if YOU are the one who is saying NO to the opportunity to change your unhappiness to happiness?
I read in a book once about the different types of mindset that a person can have… and I can remember a small story, where the Dr. asked her patient who have been through a difficult break up:
“If you are to choose between Being Happy and Having the other person suffer what would you choose?”
And trust me, Your answer to a similar question would make all the difference in the world.
Have a nice week,
Cheers,
SC
