There’s no expiry date for starting

Since the early days of our life and we wait for growing older to be able to realize our dreams, we wait for the next year or the next 10 years and we wait and wait…. Until we are there, but nothing happens.

How does it feel when you wait all your life for a moment to happen and then you keep on waiting and waiting only to get disappointed?

It seems that getting disappointed only comes from our expectations and our limited knowledge on how life SHOULD happen, only to miss out the best of it by waiting for the right time to starting.

Our tip for this  week is all about Realizing that you can start anytime, and even when it doesn’t seem logical or realistic and failure is grooming all over, but realistically speaking, what you fear today doesn’t necessarily means that it will be the case tomorrow or in the future.

At the end of the day, you are solely responsible for your success and your failure. And the sooner you realize that, you accept that, and integrate that into your work ethic, you will start being successful. As long as you blame others for the reason you aren’t where you want to be, you will always be a failure.

How was starting off for me

When I started my first company, people laughed at me, as the entrepreneurship spirit wasn’t very popular in the late 90s in my region, and to actually start something like an enterprise you needed investments and a lot of other things that I didn’t have and even wasn’t in the foreseen future; so instead of creating an actual company, I started with a virtual company.

It started with a Black & White logo, and a small website, because I only had access to a black & white printer at that time, so I changed my entire branding to B/W; and every freelance opportunity I got, I used to send an official quotation and invoice as if my virtual company was actual company. Until One day, I got the opportunity to establish a real company, and you can guess that I started off  from that virtual entity.

So you can start off anytime, late or early, with whatever you have and see how this will shape up as you grow.

Have a great week,
SC
